Our concert to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, featuring Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem (‘Grant us peace’), Elgar The Spirit of England and Finzi Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice in a packed Great Hall, University of Reading and with a retiring collection in aid of the Royal British Legion which raised over £1200, was a great success.
