Showcasing the talents of our homegrown soloists

Our summer concert was a perfect opportunity to showcase some of our talented choir members singing solos, some for the very first time. The Mozart Coronation Mass is peppered with quartets and a beautiful Agnus Dei soprano solo and Pergolesi’s Magnificat has a movement with a tenor and bass duet. All our homegrown soloists put in wonderful performances to the delight of the audience. The choir breaks now for the summer with rehearsals starting again on Monday September 1st at 7.30pm at d:two in the centre of Henley. We are looking for new sopranos, tenors and basses – no auditions!  We have a wide range of singers, from those who enjoy the community feeling of being part of a large choir to those who also relish the challenge of singing a solo.

The programme for 2025 and into 2026 contains some of the masterpieces of the choral repertoire.

  • Saturday 13th December 2025 – St Mary’s Church, Henley on Thames: varied Christmas repertoire TBC
  • Saturday 14th March 2026 – Reading Concert Hall:  Brahms German Requiem and Strauss Four Last Songs
  • Saturday 13th June 2026 – St Mary’s Church, Henley: Rossini Petit Messe Solonnelle
